RECENT PROJECTS
Coats for Kids
Cares for Kids partnered with WTHR and the Salvation
Army for their annual "Coats for Kids" drive, which
serves children of Central Indiana with the
necessities to keep warm in the winter. Last year,
"Coats for Kids" provided more than 7,000
underprivileged children with winter coats. This
year, Cares for Kids provided more than $17,000
worth of brand new boys and girls hat and glove sets
to go along with their coats. The Coats for Kids
drive took place on October 13th from 8am-4pm at the
Indiana State Fairgrounds in the Northwest Pavilion.
