Cares for Kids participates in the Fishers Freedom Festival.

On June 24th Cares for Kids participated in the Fishers Freedom Festival, the largest community event in Fishers. The Fishers Freedom Festival strives to create a safe environment and improve the lives of its residents by investing in human potential. Cares for Kids greeted more than 750 children while providing two free children’s games in the Game Booth Tent. Our Plinko game awarded approximately 300 prize certificates for free Happy Meals, small fries, and ice cream cones, while the fish toss gave away 200 prize certificates for free goldfish. As the weather turned around for the parade, Cares for Kids provide over 400 bubble packs to children who came to watch the parade. With “Helping Children Worldwide” as our float’s theme, we designed our float to look like the globe with children of different nationalities riding inside. A special “Thank You” goes out to all of our sponsors who helped us with our games and float.
